EMBRYO DONATION

Those of you who have experienced the pain of infertility and gone on to have a child through egg donation will remember the pain of thinking you may never have a child. Because of ART and the technology of egg donation, that pain was replaced with the joy of having your own child.

Many couples are unsure of what to do with their leftover embryos. If you are interested in donating your unused embryos, Miracles Waiting may have some answers for you.

Miracles Waiting, Inc. was formed after their founder posted a message on an infertility bulletin board looking for help in starting a website dedicated to helping embryo donors and potential recipients find one another. The interest was overwhelming, and in October 2004, the nonprofit organization Miracles Waiting was born.

The founders, directors, staff and volunteers of Miracles Waiting, Inc. all have been touched by infertility in one way or another and want to help others who are experiencing these same frustrations. They have experienced embryo donation first-hand and want to share their knowledge with you.

The time and effort put into creating and maintaining this organization and website comes from the voluntary contributions of the dedicated directors, officers and other volunteers who wish to help others interested in embryo donation.

Miracles Waiting, Inc. is an independent organization with 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. They are not affiliated with any IVF clinic, embryo donation or adoption agency, or religious organization. Their site contains everything you need to know about embryo adoption either as a donating parent or a recipient parent.
